Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays!

Last weekend Jordan and I celebrated our five year wedding anniversary. On the day we put the kids to bed and cooked steak oscapr together and I made my first hollandaise! Then on Saturday we went to Dinner and The Nutcracker. It was nice to spend some quiet quality time together.

In Tuesday Ainsley turned 2! Yes, I now have a 2 and 3 year old…We celebrated with Ainsley’s favorite foods; Buttermilk Pancakes, grilled cheese, and Chocolate Cupcakes.

I got out of the door early this morning to pick up our roast from The Fresh Market and I’m really looking forward to cooking it on Christmas! I picked up one of their take and bake Brie (Cranberry Almond) which has been my traditional contribution to Christmas Eve at my mother’s house since the year Jordan and I were married.

Today I will be making sugared cranberries and rosemary to go in our Christmas cocktails. Tomorrow we will be rolling out the second half of our Mary’s Perfect Sugar Cookies to leave for Santa.

I will still be posting to Instagram over the holiday and our regular posts will resume in January! I hope you all have a great Holiday!
