We are sharing our favorite tools for quick, healthy week night meals! If one of your goals for 2016 is eating more healthy meals at home these tools will make accomplishing that goal much easier.
I cannot tell you what a difference these make not just for cooking but organizing our kitchen. We recently tossed all of our other sheet pans and invested in several more half and quarter sheet pans and they stack so nicely in the cabinet. I don’t have baking sheets jumping out at me anymore!
In addition to clean up being easier we can get away with using so much less oil in our cooking. I have had some questions about storing these since they need to be kept flat and I actually store ours in our sheet pans.
I love using coconut oil in baking and for things like stir fry. I also keep a separate jar in the medicine cabinet to use on burns and cuts.
One of my favorite make ahead meals is my Baked Meatballs. I love making a big batch to freeze. I will serve them with spaghetti squash, as sliders, on spaghetti or noodles, or have them for lunch with a nice salad. These scoops ensure they cook evenly in the oven.
Good storage is the key to meal prepping. If you don’t have good air tight containers your food won’t last!
